At Pennon Group, we are committed to delivering resilient and sustainable financial performance. Our Treasury team plays a critical role in ensuring the business is well-funded, financially resilient, and operates with strong financial controls.
The Treasury Analyst will provide hands-on support across the Group’s cash, banking, and debt activities. Acting as a key operational contact within Treasury, this role ensures timely payments, optimises liquidity, and supports day-to-day treasury operations across multiple platforms.
What you’ll be doing
Cash Management
Process daily payments across multiple banking platforms.
Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity across all accounts.
Support short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting.
Execute internal funding movements in line with Treasury policy.
Debt Management
Process interest payments, commitment fees, and other financing costs.
Maintain accurate debt records and support compliance with facility requirements.
Liaise with lenders and internal stakeholders as required.
Online Banking Administration
Act as subject matter expert and administrator for online banking platforms.
Manage user access, entitlements, and approval workflows.
Support implementation of new banking technology and process improvements.
Corporate Credit Card Programme
Oversee the Pennon Group corporate credit card programme, including issuance, limit management, and compliance monitoring.
Investigate and resolve queries or discrepancies.
Deposit Planning & Optimisation
Support the placement of deposits to optimise returns while managing risk.
Monitor counterparty limits and ensure adherence to approved investment parameters.
Bank Statements & Reporting
Ensure timely receipt and reconciliation of bank statements.
Maintain accurate records to support audit and internal reporting requirements.
What you’ll bring
Experience in Treasury, Finance, or a related financial operations role preferred.
Working towards studying AAT (desirable)
Comfortable working with banking platforms and financial systems.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Strong numerical and analytical capability.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Effective communicator with a proactive and collaborative approach.
